Each year older Beth Elohim students are invited to work in our school
on a paid basis as Madrichim (student leaders). Madrichim serve as
important Jewish role models for the students in the school and are
invaluable to the weekly running of the classes. Madrichim are assigned
to a classroom to assist the teacher in a number of different
capacities, from general clerical duties to actually teaching a weekly
part of the lesson. Madrichim are able to assist in other capacities
such as one-to-one remedial tutoring, our Kesher program on Tuesdays
and Wednesdays, as office assistants and at Family Education programs.
New Madrichim are trained in an elective course in Midrasha.
