Enrollment for 2009-10 Holidays Together Preschool Program
Congregation Beth Elohim’s Family Education committee has announced that its popular Holidays Together program will again be offered for the 2009-2010 school calendar year. Enrollment is now open for Holidays Together, a series of sessions for parents and children who will enter Kindergarten in 2009 and 2010 that explores the wonder of the Jewish holidays throughout the year.
Held on Sunday mornings from 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. during September through May, the program features 10 sessions, with each focusing on a particular Jewish holiday such as Rosh Hashanah, Hanukkah, Purim and Passover. Israel and CBE’s Am Hasefer (“People of the Book”) festival will also be the focus of two sessions. Each class will include a holiday-related craft, music, fun activities, and snack, as well as an opportunity for a parent discussion.
The tuition for Holidays Together is as follows: $120 per family for CBE or JCC Early Childhood Education Center members, or $180 for non-member families.
In addition, a special holiday package is available for non-CBE members, which includes:
- Holiday Together enrollment
- Membership in the CBE Sisterhood and Brotherhood organizations
- Subscriptions to the Star newsletter and Starlight e-newsletter
- Up to two adult tickets for High Holy Day services at $75 each
